(“Wag!” or the “Company”), an American pet services marketplace company powering a mobile-first technology platform that enables on-demand and scheduled dog walking, overnight care, training, and other pet care services, today announced the closing of its business combination with CHW Acquisition Corporation (Nasdaq: CHWA, “CHW”). The Business Combination was approved on July 28, 2022, by CHW Acquisition Corporation’s stockholders. Upon the completion of the business combination, CHW changed its name to Wag! Group Co. and beginning August 10, 2022, the Company’s common stock and warrants are expected to begin trading under the new ticker symbols, “PET” and “PETWW”, respectively, on the Nasdaq.
