Dr. Taylor Feehley is a Senior Research Analyst at Chardan covering biotech companies, with a specialty on the microbiome. Dr. Taylor Feehley joined Chardan at the end of 2017, after a career as an academic scientist.
Prior to joining Chardan, Dr. Feehley was a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in the laboratory of Dr. Herbert (Skip) Virgin at Washington University in St. Louis where she studied intestinal wound healing and the genetics of inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Feehley conducted her thesis research in the laboratory of Dr. Cathryn Nagler, studying the intestinal microbiome and its role in regulating sensitization to food allergens. Research performed by Dr. Feehley was featured widely in the scientific and popular press including Science, Nature Microbiology, TIME, CBS News, and the BBC. She was also named to the Forbes “30 Under 30” list for Science in 2016 for her work in this area.
Dr. Feehley received her BA and PhD from the University of Chicago and was a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at Washington University in St. Louis.
